Name: Bobby "Bulldozer" Clark

Your role at the Mountaineer: Out on the floor doing a little bit of everything to make sure you have a great experience while you're in the shop.

Favorite product we sell and why: Anything Norrona or Howler Bros, especially the loggerhead sun hoodie. Paddler's maps, Exped packs and all of the nut butter clif bars. Peaks and Ponds (shameless self plug).

Notable outdoor adventures: Tupper Triad Paddle Pedal Ultra (40 miles of human powered fun!), Paddled 56 different Adirondack Lakes, Rivers and Ponds in one season, Hiked every mile of marked trail in Pharaoh Lake Wilderness including  winter sunrise of Pharaoh Mountain. Raiding Like the Sun in the Adirondack Canoe Classic 90-Miler.

Fondest memory in the Adirondack Park: Any time I get out to explore a new corner of the Adirondack Park, especially sunrise paddles and hikes or camping under a full moon.

When you're not working, what are you doing: If there's open water, I'm paddling. I also love to camp, cross country ski, hike, road bike and plan for future adventures. When I'm not outside I love to read, write, listen to music and cuddle with my rescue dog Yodel the Brave.

Favorite food after a long day in the mountains: Filthy Burger and fries from The Marketplace at Raquette River Brewing or anything on the menu at Big Slide or Grizle T's

Favorite Quote: “Have you also learned that secret from the river; that there is no such thing as time? That the river is everywhere at the same time, at the source and at the mouth, at the waterfall, at the ferry, at the current, in the ocean and in the mountains, everywhere and that the present only exists for it, not the shadow of the past nor the shadow of the future. They both listened silently to the water, which to them was not just water, but the voice of life, the voice of Being, the voice of perpetual Becoming."
