BlackFin boots
I purchased these boots in January 2021 and have been waiting to see how they worked before writing this review. Interestingly, there are virtually no review. I have worn them now on 6 winter peaks and could not be happier. They fit with virtually no break-in, take strap on cramp-ons, snow-shoes and microspikes well, and are not so high as to hurt my ankles. I have not pushed the temperature range much below -10, but they are toasty at that temperature. I initially bought my shoe size, but ended up replacing them with a half size larger.

BlackFin boots
I have had the boots for only a week, but given there are zero reviews, thought I should provide one. Two trips (shoes and microspikes) in the Adirondacks. Temps in the 15-22 degree (F) range. Boots are warm and comfortable, handled snow shoes extremely well under not so easy conditions. They are much softer on top and slightly lower than other high top boots, making them immediately wearable without break-in. The only reason I gave them four stars rather than five is that you will need to try them on. They have a tight heelbox and run slightly short by my feet. I had to go a half size larger. Good news is that they have half sizes all the way up to size 14! A true blessing for those with big feet.
